Hi! Welcome back (FINALLY!) to my summer special. I've been way behind on the series due to a combination of sudden sickness, internet issues, and constant changes of plans for posts, but I'm back and will be catching up as best as I can in these next few days before AllTheHits.
So, as you may have been able to tell from some of the other posts in the series, I'm listening to Olivia Rodrigo a lot more than usual (almost as much as I did before I saw her in concert), with the Guts tour coming to an end and a third era likely to begin soon. I think she will always be my top artist, but I hadn't been listening to her as much before July with Lyn Lapid having a lot of music I hadn't listened to yet and Laufey being amidst an album cycle & regularly releasing new music. But I've realized that Olivia is one of those artists who I'll randomly decide to listen to once and then suddenly be compelled to relisten to her songs for a while nonstop. After noticing more and more hard-hitting lines I hadn't caught onto before, I thought it would be a cool idea to compile a list of my favorite lyrics from each song.
